Radishes and Butter — Huh?

While I wait for the vanilla to arrive, how about a bit about how the name of the blog came about.

In short, I LOVE radishes. My boyfriend often makes fun of me for eating them — after coming home from the farmer’s market, I can easily sit down and eat the whole bunch with a bit of sea salt.

Butter is also brilliant. Especially really good butter! Most people think that butter is butter, but it is not. Some butter simply tastes better. If your curious, do a taste test between your generic grocery brand and a cultured butter with crystals of sea salt.

Anyhow, I digress. In addition to radishes and butter being exceptionally tasty foods, they go very well together and are often eaten that way in France.

Which brings me to my last point — I love all things french, but especially their approach to food. So, a title that included two of my favourite foods and a reference to a French snack seemed perfect!
